This lovely reserve hails from Coonawarra grapes and exibits mint and blackberry character
A nice Cabernet Sauvignon by Jacob’s Creek Reserve Range, featuring the grapes from Coonawarra South Asutralia. This particular area is well known for it’s rich red soil (Terra Rossa).
This drop shows typical regional nature with mint and blackberry aromas and ripe cassis flavours with hints of black olive.
Conditions for this season were steady with plenty of moisture and an early burst of warm weather in September and October – resulting in few frosts.

Bouquet:
The wine shows fresh, varietal leafy blackcurrant and plum fruit aromas on the nose, with spicy cinnamon and cedary notes from well-handled French oak.
Palate:
Elegantly structured, with vibrant, intense flavours of cassis, plum and tobacco leaf. These flavours are supported by classy integrated oak with fine supple tannins and balanced acidity, leading to a long, harmonious finish.

Excellent drinking now and will continue to improve over the next five years.

An ideal accompaniment to lamb cutlets, beef rib roast or mature cheeses.
